Absentee ballots for merger vote available beginning Dec. 16
Nov. 22, 2013 In accordance with state Department of Education procedures, absentee ballots for the Jan. 7 school merger vote will be made available in the District Office after Dec. 16 and must be received back to the district by 5 p.m. on Jan. 7.
Presentation on Cyber Bullying Planned
November 19, 2013 On Wednesday, December 4, from 6 to 7 p.m., NYS Police Investigator Northrup from the Computer Crimes Department will be in our school district to present on the dangers of unmonitored use of social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat, Instagram, etc.) and the impact of cyber bullying. This presentation will take place in the Auditorium located in the High School at 27 School Street and is open to all students (Grades K - 12) and their families. We look forward to seeing you there.

Reminder to residents: Register for Basic STAR by Dec. 31
Sept. 11, 2013New legislation requires all homeowners receiving a Basic STAR exemption to register with the New York State Tax Department in order to receive the exemption in 2014 and subsequent years. The Tax Department has mailed instructions on how to register to all homeowners who currently receive Basic STAR. The registration deadline is Dec. 31, 2013. To learn more and to register for the STAR exemption visit http://www.tax.ny.gov/pit/property/star13/default.htm/ or call (518) 457-2036. Senior citizens receiving the Enhanced STAR exemption are not affected by the new registration requirement.
August 29, 2013 Student schedules were posted online to the Student/Parent Portals on Wednesday, August 28th. There will be no schedule changes allowed between now and Monday, September 9th. If the Guidance Office staff notices a problem with your schedule, you will be notified. You cannot drop a course. If you want to make a change, you must enroll in a course of the same credit. To change a course you must obtain a pre-signed pass to the Guidance Office after Monday, September 9th.
Northville residents approve straw vote

Mayfield residents still favor merger discussions, survey finds
June 20, 2013After casting their ballots during the annual school budget vote on May 21, Mayfield voters were also asked to weigh in on a merger survey. The results show that 75 percent of respondents are in favor of continued merger discussions with Northville Central Schools. Read more
