Peer speaker discusses dangers of drunken driving with high school students

Mayfield Elementary receives more than $1,300 from Hannaford program

The Mayfield Central School District thanks all the residents who took the time to vote May 20. The budget, capital reserve and bus propositions passed with approval ratings of 79 percent, 76 percent and 75 percent, respectively. The support of the community is greatly appreciated.
Mayfield residents approve 2014-15 budget
May 20, 2012 Voters in the Mayfield Central School District Tuesday, May 20 approved the district’s proposed 2014-15 budget 199 to 53. Residents also approved the bus purchase proposition and the capital reserve proposition and elected Ernie Clapper to another term on the board of education. Read more
Lockout at Mayfield Junior-Senior High School on May 8, 2014
May 8, 2014 This morning, three high school students reported that an adult outside of the school had threatened them with physical harm. They expressed concern that the adult may be near the school, looking for a specific vehicle. The New York State Police were contacted and are taking statements. The junior-senior high school and the elementary school took steps to ensure that no suspicious persons could enter either building. The day continued without incident and everyone remains safe. All after school activities, including athletics, will continue as scheduled. The day continued throughout the school district without incident.

If you do NOT want your student to be examined by the school physician, please be sure that they have a current physical on file at the health office.
